Pete Seeger has been an old soul from Day One.  He has been active on both sides of the tracks.  He plays a kind banjo.  He’s hung out with Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and hundreds of other great players.  He’s performed in all kinds of weather.  He has always spoken for those who can’t.

Pete Seeger has sung everywhere.  He asks everyone to sing along and I, for one, am glad to do so, despite what I might sound like.  He has brought and continues to bring together people from around the world.  Now, he actually is old and his soul continues to grow and his heart beats for everyone, even those who have tried to silence him and his message and whose eyes, ears, and hearts he still tries to open with his music and his boundless good energy.
