Valentine’s Day!

heartpasLove is what it’s all about.  It must be true that 80 percent, 90 percent of all songs, really, all music, is concerned with, sings about, cries, screams, and shakes about that four letter word.  Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.  We celebrate love then and we are reminded that it is the only thing that matters.  True love, blue love, every kind of new love.  The eternal search for love lost and love to be.  Baby love, honey love.  A love like ours.

It’s endless and wonderful.  Hopeful and helpless.  She’s the one, he’s in love with me, and, sometimes, we’re through.  The story of love, the glory of love.  Baby, you knooowww what I like!  You can’t hurry love, you don’t know what love is, and, for sure, you’ll never find another love like me.  Love letters, love potions, the chapel of love, sweet words of love, the sunshine of your love.  Faded love, careless love, first, last, and always love.

All you need is love.  How sweet it is!

The Definition of Love.  NRBQ nrbq003

It started long ago in the Garden of Eden, when Adam said to Eve, Baby, you’re for me!  You know this, but I just love to say it – Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders game of love3wayne1

About Ted Ringer

I am a writer, artist, and listener. Great music is everywhere and has no limits. Some of it is well-orchestrated and some is short and sweet. It can spring out of a moment of deep feeling or result from long periods of development. Music is communication, inspiration, and a million other things. This blog wants to share the wealth and keep toes tapping.
